The Harp Inn
A well-liked, budget-friendly Abergele pub with outdoor seating and a warm welcome for families.

Cafés · Abergele
A breakfast-and-brunch spot that's clean, modern and unusually calm — one visitor describes it as "super quiet with a calming atmosphere", which is rare enough with a toddler in tow that it's worth the drive. There's free parking, buggy access and high chairs, plus outdoor seating and a kids' menu, so it works for a fuel-up before Gwrych Castle. The vegetarian breakfast and the salmon and cream cheese bagel get the most praise, the veggie sausages are genuinely good, and the fresh lemon and ginger tea is made with real ginger and lemon rather than a bag. Portions are reasonably priced and vegans are well looked after. Two honest notes: it only does breakfast and brunch, and when it's busy one person can be run off their feet, so drinks may take a while.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
