A modern, comfortable little room on Crow Road that's nearly always busy — one parent calls it a "gorgeous wee place". Buggy access is straightforward, there's free parking, high chairs and a kids' menu, and outdoor tables if the noise builds or someone needs air. Food is where it earns its keep: generous portions, with the gamberoni, seabass and risotto named again and again, and brunch and coffee good enough to come for on their own. The staff are warm and quick to make families feel welcome. Two honest notes — the a la carte menu is small and doesn't change much, and it isn't always consistent: one couple found the ragu and pasta bland and sat a long while without anyone checking in. Worth booking at weekends.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
