Himalayan Inn Nottingham-Nepalese & Indian Restaurant
Warm Nepalese and Indian cooking in Arnold — famous lamb shank, sharing naans, kids' menu, high chairs and free parking.

Pub · Nottingham
Arnold's oldest pub has grown into something that works surprisingly well with children in tow — the covered, heated skittle alley and the raised sun terrace mean there's somewhere to sit whatever the weather, and the newer snug gives you a quieter corner when the bar gets busy. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, buggy access is fine, and the staff are consistently warm; one parent talks about the "always a warm welcome". Food has come on a lot lately, with the cheese and onion cobs a firm favourite among regulars. Two things to know: it's very much a real ale pub at heart — around 20 hand pulls, mostly Lincoln Green — so expect an adult, chatty atmosphere rather than a play area, and there's no car park, though free two-hour parking sits a short walk away. Dogs welcome too.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
