Saray Turkish Grill House
Generous Turkish grills and sharing platters in Newcastle, with a kids' menu, high chairs, free parking and quick, patient service.

Brazilian · Newcastle upon Tyne
A Brazilian grill on the Quayside where the meat comes to you — servers carry skewers table to table and you flip a beer mat to yes or no when you've had enough, which children tend to find brilliant. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, buggy access and some outdoor seating, and the salad bar is a genuine help with hungry little ones: you can load plates with garlic mushrooms, prawns and sides before any meat arrives, so nobody waits. Picanha, garlic cap of rump, gammon and caramelised pork get the loudest praise. Staff are warm and remember how you like things cooked. It's not cheap, and the window tables with the river view are worth asking for when you book — as are loose waistbands.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
