Pub · Glasgow
A big, easy-going carvery on the edge of Glasgow that works well when you've got children in tow and don't want to spend much. Parking is free, there's buggy access and high chairs, a kids' menu and outdoor seating for warmer days. The carvery is the reason to come — huge Yorkshires, properly cooked meats, a good spread of veg and both mash and roasties, with portions so generous you can ask for less. Staff are chatty and welcoming with children, and one family described watching them sit with an elderly customer just to keep him company. Two honest notes: the atmosphere is closer to a big chain pub than anywhere special, and you can queue a while at the tills, so go early with hungry children.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
