Gusto Italian - Liverpool
Smart Albert Dock Italian with proper cooking, dock views and a kids' menu — pram-friendly and patient with children, but book ahead.

Restaurant · Liverpool

Right on the Albert Dock, this restored red-brick pump station from 1870 has the kind of high ceilings and space that make arriving with a pram genuinely easy — plenty of seating, room to park a buggy, and window tables looking out over the water that will keep a restless four-year-old busy. Staff come in for repeated praise: quick, patient, and willing to hold a table when a baby needs feeding first. Food is elevated pub cooking — the breaded halloumi starter gets particular love — though Sunday roasts sell out early and one visitor found theirs badly missing the mark, so it's worth ordering off the main menu. High chairs, a kids' menu and outdoor seating in decent weather. It gets loud and busy at weekends and evenings; book ahead or come off-peak. Parking at the Albert Dock car park nearby.
