A big garden centre just off the M4 with a farm shop, a scatter of little shops and a café that's genuinely set up for families — kids' menu, high chairs, wide aisles you can steer a pram down without apologising, and free parking (the car park is enormous but fills up fast, so allow a few minutes circling on weekends and school holidays). The cake counter is the draw: an enormous choice, hot, properly made drinks, and portions one family described as "more than generous". Dogs are welcome, including in the café area, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Worth knowing: prices are reasonable rather than cheap, the main café can be hit and miss at busy times, and it gets genuinely packed in the holidays. A good morning out if you pair lunch with a wander round the shops.
