Temola Turkish Cuisine
Generous Turkish sharing platters, kids' menu, high chairs and free parking — a relaxed Nottingham sit-down with baklava and kunafa worth staying for.

There's a proper restaurant feel to this place since its refurbishment — stylish, roomy enough for a pram, and busy in a cheerful way rather than a stressful one. Food arrives fast even on a packed Saturday night, which matters when someone small has hit the wall. The staff are warm and quick to sort things out; when a gluten-free starter came out dry, they swapped it for bruschetta without a fuss. Portions are generous, and the calamari with its flavoured mayonnaise, the carbonara and the cinnamon swirl cheesecake all get proper enthusiasm. Kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, vegan choices and a few outdoor tables. It is on the pricey side, and the oven-baked pastas do come out a touch drier than the bowl versions — worth knowing before you order.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
