A play café that actually earns the name — the space is big and open, with floor room for crawlers, quality toys, a pikler triangle and foam soft play, plus slides and crawling cubes for the just-walking crowd. There's genuinely plenty of room to park a buggy, high chairs, a kids' menu, and a little garden that comes into its own in summer. Coffee gets praised constantly, and the banana cake alongside it; the kids' snack plates mean you're covered if you forgot to pack anything. Staff and volunteers are warm and unhurried. Two honest notes: it gets rammed mid-morning and on cold wet days, so come early or later if you want calm, and the building can run chilly — one parent suggests extra socks.
