Cocoa Corner Cafe
A warm, family-welcoming Brighton coffee shop with high chairs and outdoor seating, beloved by local parents at a glowing 5.0 rating.

Fish & chips · Brighton
Right on the seafront by the pier, this is the kind of stop that works when everyone is hungry at once — food comes out fast, the chips are freshly cut and properly hot, and the batter on the cod is light and crisp. The big win for families is the seating out front: plenty of tables, all under canopies, which keeps the sun off and, more usefully, keeps the seagulls from swooping on a child's lunch. Tables are kept clean, there's buggy access and high chairs, a kids' menu, and vegan options. Portions are generous for a chippy, and prices are fair for a seafront spot — four people can eat for under £50. Staff are warm and quick with children. It's counter service and outdoors, so a wet or windy day makes it much less appealing.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
