Newly opened on the Lisburn Road and already pulling in families, this is a warm, cosy Italian where the owners have clearly put real thought into the room — good decor, an inviting atmosphere, and staff who are kind and welcoming rather than merely efficient. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, vegan options and free parking, plus outdoor seating for warmer days. The pizzas draw the most praise, along with the dirty chunky chips, and the team are happy to steer you through the menu if you're undecided. One caveat worth knowing: at peak times it gets very busy and food can take a while — one family waited over an hour for pizza on a December night — so go early with hungry children, or book. Otherwise it's a genuinely lovely family meal out.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
