Butta la Pasta
A highly rated Sheffield pasta spot, relaxed and welcoming for a family meal out.

Greek · Sheffield
Twenty-plus years in and this little Greek taverna in Sheffield still has families coming back, which tells you most of what you need. It's a quaint, small room — lovely and intimate on a quiet night, but genuinely packed when it's busy, so book ahead and go early with children if you want space for the pram. The mixed mezze for two comes in around £18 a head, the lamb kleftiko is tender with far more meat than you expect, and the spanakopita and hummus get singled out again and again. Portions are generous, wine is cheap by the glass, and there's a three-course phone deal if you ask when booking. High chairs, a kids' menu and free parking all help. Service can stretch thin at peak times — one parent notes it's "packed in like sardines" when full.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
