Tucked off Porthdafarch Road on the Anglesey Outdoors site (follow the brown "Outdoor Pursuit Centres" sign and park at the end — parking is free and plentiful), this has the feel of a small clubhouse, hung with paddles and boating bits, and there's a shelf of games children can help themselves to. Nobody minds noise here. The burger gets the loudest praise, the kids' meals are proper if small, breakfast comes with free coffee refills, and the specials are worth asking about. High chairs, a kids' menu and vegan options are all sorted, plus a beer garden that's lovely in summer. Two honest warnings: food starts at 5.30pm, and summer weekends get seriously busy — waits can top an hour, so arrive early and order ahead. Staff are upfront about delays and good with hungry children.
