Brighton has plenty of vegan fast food, but this one earns its queue. The "chicken" burgers are the big draw — good enough that people bring sceptical friends to test them — alongside impossible burgers, a bacon cheese and mac that regulars rave about, and loaded fries that arrive generously portioned. Garlic and marmite fries have their own fan club, though plain chips leave some cold. The space is modern and roomy with clean toilets, buggy access is straightforward, and there are high chairs, a kids' menu and outdoor seating. Staff are consistently friendly and patient with a long menu and indecisive orders. It's indulgent rather than light — most people are too full for a shake afterwards — and a meal deal with burger, fries and drink keeps it reasonable for a family lunch.
