Pub · Birmingham
Right in the thick of Broad Street, this is a big, buzzy Irish pub that works better for families earlier in the day than late on. Buggy access and high chairs are there, and the cosier seating nooks give you somewhere to settle without feeling rushed or hemmed in — though it fills up fast before gigs at the arena, so book if you're coming at a busy time. Food is the strong point: the fish and chips comes with thin, crisp batter and proper chunky fries, and the Mega Irish Breakfast is a plateful that'll see you through the day. Portions are generous and prices reasonable, give or take £11.25 for the cod. Ordering by app after a first trip to the bar keeps things moving, and food can land in under 20 minutes. Live music and darts pods mean evenings get loud.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
