East Kilbride Harvester
Relaxed Glasgow chain with a kids' menu, vegan options and outdoor seating — a fuss-free pick for a family meal.

Scottish · Glasgow
A small, intimate dining room in Glasgow that fills up fast, so book ahead — especially at weekends or with a bigger group. It's not a soft-play sort of place, but there are high chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access and free parking, and the team are the kind who make nothing feel like too much trouble. Lighting is warm, music stays low enough to talk over, and the food comes out properly good: Loch Fyne mussels with sourdough garlic bread, remarkably succulent chicken, hake and scallops off the specials board, and a quirky edible book pudding children tend to love the look of. The set menu at around £23 for two courses is genuinely good value, and there's no service charge added on. One parent calls it simply "a gem of a restaurant".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
