A newish courtyard right in the middle of town is the draw here — open air, no smoking, and roomy enough that a pram isn't a problem, with a relaxed hum rather than a roar. The pizza is the thing: proper dough, made by hand, toppings you can customise for fussy eaters, and it arrives fast, which matters when someone's patience is thin. The homemade focaccia and fonduta come up again and again, portions are generous, and the desserts get raved about. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and vegan options, and the family who run it are warm with everyone. Two pizzas, a shared starter, wine and pudding came to around £45, so it's fair value. Indoors is smart but a little hard-edged — the courtyard is the comfier seat.
