It's roomy enough to get a buggy in, with outdoor tables as well as air-conditioned space inside, high chairs, a kids' menu and dogs welcome alongside the children. The cooked breakfast is the big draw — generous, properly hot, and the vegan version with tofu eggs gets just as much praise. Cheese scones are worth taking one home. Burgers and chilli jacket potatoes hold up too. Two honest snags: it gets very busy at weekends, when both the queue and the wait for food can stretch past half an hour, and the coffee is the weak spot — tea is the safer order. There's a large paid car park nearby.
