Big Blue Cafe
A budget-friendly Southampton café loved by families, with a kids' menu and vegan options to suit everyone round the table.

Restaurant · Southampton
A big Greene King pub on the edge of Southampton with free parking, buggy access and a garden, so you're not wrestling a pram through a doorway or hunting for a space with a toddler on your hip. It's roomy enough to be forgiving of a noisy table, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, and food often lands fast — one family were "starving" and had scampi and burgers in front of them in minutes. The Sunday roast is the thing to come for: hot, generous, and the vegetarian and turkey versions get as much praise as the beef. Staff are generally warm and happy to tweak a plate for a fussy eater. Be aware service can drag badly when the kitchen is having an off day, and gluten-free bread isn't always in stock — worth ringing ahead. Booking through the app gets your table waiting.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
