The burgers get the loudest praise, and there are often midweek deals (two meals for £20) plus blue light card acceptance. Be warned: weekend service can drag badly, with waits of 45 minutes-plus reported, and the food is honest pub standard rather than remarkable. Book ahead and go midweek if you can.
