Hog's Back Cafe
A budget-friendly Farnham cafe with a kids' menu, high chairs, and outdoor seating — an easy, laid-back stop with the little ones.

Cafés · Guildford
Tucked in the middle of Normandy village, this is a shop and café rolled into one, run largely by volunteers alongside the staff — and the warmth of that shows in how everyone talks to each other, customers included. It's busy but relaxed rather than frantic, with free parking right there, buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu, so arriving with a pram and a toddler isn't a production. Outdoor seating sits in a pretty spot, there's a small farm and gift shop to wander round, and a children's play park nearby for when they've had enough of sitting. Coffee is good and cheaper than most places around here, cakes are homemade, and there's a decent gluten- and wheat-free range. Weekend breakfasts and lunches are worth the trip; Friday mornings get packed thanks to the farmers' market.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
