Come hungry and expect to queue — the line outside on Exchange Street is part of the deal, though it usually moves in five or ten minutes, which is worth knowing if you've got a hungry toddler in tow. Inside it's more spacious than the queue suggests, relaxed enough that nobody rushes you out, and the staff are warm and happy to talk you through the menu. Breakfast is the main event: proper bacon and meaty sausages, bubble and squeak you rarely see elsewhere, crispy truffle hash browns, shakshuka, and a Korean beef brisket stack that comes in generous portions. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, and a genuinely good vegan selection — plus plenty of gluten-free choices. Prices are fair for what lands on the plate. One of our favourite lunch spots in Norwich, as regulars put it.
