Indian · Exmouth
Tucked a little off the beaten track, this Nepalese-Indian kitchen has become a reliable Exmouth standby for families, and the free parking takes one worry off the table before you've even sat down. Tables turn over quickly even without booking, and food tends to arrive fast — useful when a toddler has reached the end of their patience. The team are attentive and genuinely check in on how you're getting on, including with first-timers unsure what to order. Highlights include the mixed grill and sizzling platters, chilli chicken, railway chicken and a paneer butter masala that people drive from Exeter for; there's a kids' menu, high chairs and vegan choices too. Portions are fair for the price, though the condiments come out small. It isn't universally loved — a few have found dishes underwhelming — but most leave very happy.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
