The owners give everyone a proper welcome and explain how the place works, and the food genuinely delivers: excellent coffee at reasonable prices, hot chocolate worth ordering, cakes from the dog patisserie, plus vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options for humans. The play area takes bookings for up to four dogs, so ring ahead at weekends. One family calls it "a beautiful and unique cafe".
