Tucked slightly off the main drag in the centre of Stafford, this is the kind of small café where breakfast turns up hot, fast and properly cooked — one family were served two children's meals, a plate of ham, chips and egg and drinks in under ten minutes, which matters when someone's already melting down. A full English and a cappuccino comes to around a tenner, and portions are generous; the paninis, lasagne and the early riser breakfast all get singled out, as do the strawberry sundaes. Staff are patient and check back to see how you're getting on, and nobody rushes you out while the children finish. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and buggy access, and the seating is comfortable and clean. The toilets are unisex and opinions on them vary — mostly spotless, occasionally in need of attention.
