Decky's Traditional Chip Shop
Traditional Armagh chippy with a kids' menu, high chairs, step-free buggy access and gluten-free options.

Bistro · Armagh
Sitting down here with a pram is straightforward — there's buggy access, high chairs and free parking outside, so the arrival faff is minimal. Inside it's cosy and often busy, which means a bit of noise cover if your toddler is having a moment, though tables near the door can catch a draught in winter, so ask to be seated further in. The staff are the real draw: warm, plentiful and genuinely accommodating, even for families turning up late in the day. Food comes out fast at reasonable prices, portions are generous, and the loaded fries get particular praise, as do the desserts and the rotating lunch specials. Breakfast is a strong, calm option. Not every dish lands — a few find the carvery-style plates a little plain — but there's outdoor seating and a kids' menu for easier days.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
