Just across from Kelvingrove Art Gallery, this is the more casual, quicker-paced sibling of the nearby restaurant — bare wooden tables, red banquettes, green tiles — and the smaller sharing plates suit children who want a bit of everything rather than a whole curry to themselves. Buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu are all sorted, and the staff are attentive without hovering, happy to explain dishes or adjust the heat. The dosas make a brilliant lunch, the Peshawari naan comes out flaky and fresh, and the weekday thalis (two curries, rice, chapati, raita, salad) are genuinely good value at around £11–13. Portions are generous and vegans are well looked after. Two things worth knowing: order a full spread and the bill climbs, and "properly spicy" here still lands fairly mild.
