Tucked a few minutes back from the seafront, this is a small Italian dining room that manages to feel properly grown-up — white tablecloths, a flower on the table — without being precious about children. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and buggy access, plus free parking, and tables outside where a sunny afternoon does a lot of the entertaining. Portions are generous and prices genuinely reasonable: sea bass with good vegetables, fresh-dough pizza, mussel spaghetti and salmon pasta all come up again and again, as does the smoked mozzarella starter. Staff stay attentive when the room fills, and one family arriving without a booking on a busy Friday still got a table. Two honest snags: it's compact and gets lively, and food can arrive a little slowly or out of sync when they're stretched.
