Amari Restaurant
A warmly-rated Brighton restaurant with high chairs for little ones and mid-range prices, perfect for a family meal out.

Pub · Brighton
Proper old-school Brighton boozer near London Road and the Level, and one of the cheaper spots around — pie and mash from the famous pie shop next door has gone for about £7, which is hard to argue with when you're feeding small people. It's been done up recently and feels brighter and more welcoming than it used to; the music sits at a sensible volume rather than shouting over you, and one visitor rates it "the cheapest pub in the area". High chairs, a kids' menu and step-free access for a buggy, plus a small beer garden — though that outdoor space is scruffy and could do with some care. Staff are quick and friendly, locals chatty. Worth knowing: food is only on certain days, the beer range can run thin, and sport or racing is often on the TVs.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
