The owners are chatty and genuinely accommodating — attentive with young children, and quick to join in when there's a birthday cake and candles at the table. Portions are generous for the price: Tom Yum with prawns, Thai fried noodles, teriyaki chicken katsu, and a French toast with Nutella that families come back for. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and enough variety that a fussy eater will find something. Worth knowing it's a compact place, so a big group is better off going early.
