Coffee Shops · Louth
Housed in a grand old building that surprises most people on their first visit, this is a genuinely easy place to bring children. Buggy access and free parking take the stress out of arriving, and there are high chairs, a kids' menu and outdoor seating once everyone needs air. Big groups are handled without fuss — one family turned up with four adults and three children, then an extra grandparent, and were simply fed. Food comes out fresh, hot and quickly, portions are decent, and the value is repeatedly mentioned. The Sunday lunch and apple crumble get particular praise, as does the mint Aero cake. It's a small café with a surprisingly good menu, plants and gift bits for sale, and craft groups running through the week. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too. Quiet, countryside surroundings rather than a play-barn atmosphere.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
