Travellers Inn
A laid-back, wallet-friendly Sheffield bar with a kids' menu, vegan options and outdoor seating for an easy family meal.

Pub · Sheffield
A carvery pub on the roomier side, which is exactly what you want when there's a pram to park and a toddler who won't sit still. There's a play area, and families are usually seated near it — worth knowing either way, because if you're after a quieter meal it's fine to ask for a table in the restaurant side instead. The Sunday carvery is the draw: hot, plentiful, and generous enough that big groups of a dozen or more get served together. Puddings get real affection too, especially the lemon cheesecake and the bakewell tart with custard. Staff are patient and quick to seat you even without a booking, and they'll happily sort gluten-free or carry drinks over. Prices are low, parking is free, high chairs are there. Weekend lunchtimes get busy and loud.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
