Tucked downstairs next to the Italian bakery in the centre of Devizes, this is a small room — around 20 tables' worth of seating — so it's cosy rather than roomy, and worth ringing ahead at weekends since it fills up fast. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, plus free parking and a few outdoor tables when the weather plays along. The cooking is proper home-style Sicilian and the portions are generous enough that children can share or you take the rest home. Pizzas get the loudest praise (the gluten-free ones included — crisp bases, piled with toppings), and the tiramisù is something regulars travel back for. Service is quick and warm rather than formal, and takeaway is a good fallback on nights when sitting still isn't happening.
