Turkish food in the middle of Cardiff that works surprisingly well with children in tow — the morning Turkish breakfast is the standout for families, a spread wide enough that everyone finds something, with bread brought over again and again by staff who don't mind being asked. High chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access and outdoor seating are all sorted, and vegan and halal eating is genuinely catered for rather than an afterthought. The team are good at suggesting dishes if you're unsure, and food generally arrives quickly. Evenings are a different animal: the room is dark and atmospheric, the kitchen closes around 9pm so a late booking can feel rushed, and the sharing plates aren't cheap for what turns up. Come earlier in the day and it's warm, welcoming and easy — one family called it simply "very enjoyable".
