Mini Monsters (children's play cafe 0-5 years)
Under-fives play café with soft play, role play and clear sightlines — spotless, welcoming, and the oat latte is excellent.

Café · Bournemouth
A soft play café aimed squarely at the under-fives, with a layout that does something small but genuinely useful — the play area is open enough that you can sit at a table with a coffee and keep an eye on your child without climbing in after them. It's kept properly clean, the hard floors feel fresh, and there's a role play corner and sensory toys alongside the soft play, so a toddler and a four-year-old can both find something. Entry is cheap, drinks and snacks are good, and the toilets are decent. Two honest snags: it gets hot inside with no air conditioning, and parking is tricky — though you can use the church car park for a £1 donation. Birthday parties here are a real strength, with a crown and a throne for the birthday child.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
