The mixed grill and marinated lamb get the most love — tender, generously portioned, easily shareable with a small person — and the falafel is properly crisp outside, soft in, while the kenafeh arrives warm and just sweet enough. High chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access and free parking all help, as do vegan choices, and the team are warm and genuinely accommodating with families. Two honest caveats: tables sit close together, so a big pram is a squeeze and staff do occasionally knock the chairs behind you, and soft drinks are steep at £2.40 a can. Worth knowing they offer a discount if you pay in cash. One parent called it "one of my friend's fave restaurants in town".
