Book ahead, because it fills up and walk-ins can wait an hour on a Saturday. It's a small, stylish room with a comfy feel rather than a hushed one; the atmosphere runs lively and chatty, so a noisy toddler won't be the loudest thing in it, but there's not a lot of spare floor for a pram. There's a kids' menu and high chairs. The food is the draw: courgette fritters with lemon aioli that come out crisp and not remotely greasy, burrata with grapefruit and orange, focaccia that's light and airy, and gnocchetti with sausage ragu in a sensible portion. Staff are warm and attentive even when every table is full.
