It's a proper restaurant rather than a soft-play sort of place, and it does get busy, so book if you're bringing the family. Food is worth the effort: the fish sharing plate comes up again and again, with scallops and mussels singled out, and the garlic mushrooms with stilton cream, the salt-and-pepper squid, and the steak all have loyal fans. The Sunday set lunch is quietly good value. Gluten-free and vegan options are handled properly. The owners run the floor themselves and are warm with tables of all sizes. The toilets could do with freshening up.
