Service is friendly and attentive, and the team talk you through the food and wine without any fuss. The snails in garlic butter draw the loudest praise — one visitor rated them above any they'd had in France — alongside slow-braised beef bourguignon and steak tartare prepared at the table to your preferred spice level. Portions are generous, so come hungry. It isn't cheap, and a couple of people felt the steak didn't quite justify the bill. Book ahead: a card is needed to hold the table.
