A quick, cheap lunch stop in the city centre that turns out to be genuinely useful with children in tow — buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu, plus plenty of vegan choices if you've got a fussy eater at the table. The rice boxes are the thing to order: satay, aioli, salsa verde chicken and the mushroom one all get raved about, and the Green Shakshuka has its own small fan club. Portions are protein-heavy and filling for the price. Staff come up again and again as the strong point — friendly, patient, happy to talk you through ingredients if there's an allergy or a strong dislike to work around, and quick with pick-up orders. Two honest caveats: the cakes can be stale, and the coffee is hit-and-miss for £4. Stick to the hot food.
