A laid-back Sheffield bar with outdoor seating — an easy spot to bring the family along for a drink and a bite.

Sandwich shop · Sheffield
Tucked just off Barkers Pool near the City Hall, this is a small bakery-café that works well for a quick lunch with children rather than a long sit-down — there are covered tables outside (a proper suntrap, and easier with a pram than the few indoor bar seats) plus high chairs and a kids' menu. The focaccia sandwiches are the thing to order, made fresh and warmed on request, and the salad boxes rotate often; gluten-free and vegan choices are plentiful, right down to the cannoli. Coffee, matcha and hot chocolate are all a cut above the high-street chains, and prices are reasonable with meal deals on pastries. Staff are consistently kind and will happily make something up if a sandwich has sold out. It's compact, so at peak lunchtime you may be better off taking it outside.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
