Cafés · Hull
A family-run café on a quiet stretch of Hull that punches well above its size — homemade pizzas, burgers, and a breakfast people genuinely rave about, with locally sourced sausages and a smashed avocado one visitor rated 10/10. The atmosphere is laid-back in a way that suits children: eight kids at one private booking were made welcome without fuss, and the staff will happily entertain a toddler at the table or dig out a high chair for a walk-in. Kitchen flexibility is real too — a picky child who wanted neither burger nor kebab got chicken nuggets instead. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, outdoor seating, buggy access and free parking. Afternoon tea at £20 a head is good value, and while they'll squeeze you in unbooked, weekends are busy enough that booking is the safer bet.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
