Cafés · Brighton
Tucked into the Marina, this is a bright, roomy spot where families sprawl out with prams and nobody blinks — buggy access is easy, there are plenty of high chairs and baby changing, though no toddler cutlery, so pack your own. Free parking helps. It gets genuinely busy and food can take twenty minutes, but the noise is chatter rather than blaring music, and the staff stay cheerful and patient through it. Pancakes, the buddha bowl and the cooked breakfast all draw praise, and the vegan range is unusually good. There's a gift shop inside with stickers and local prints to keep small hands occupied, plus a sunny outdoor terrace — one family calls it their favourite place to relax when the sun's out. Two snags: the ordering queue can drag, and seagulls will raid an unattended plate outside.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
