Aphrodite's Bar and The Oyster Club
A refined Birmingham seafood and oyster bar that still welcomes families, with a kids' menu and high chairs available.

Restaurant · Birmingham
A big, bright room with plenty of space between tables, which is the practical bit — a pram fits without anyone having to shuffle chairs, and buggy access is straightforward. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, and the sprawling menu means the fussiest eater and the veggie or vegan parent both find something; the tapas are the thing to order, with the buttermilk fried chicken, hot honey halloumi, quesadillas and tacos coming up again and again. Staff are friendly and good at recommendations if you ask. Two honest notes: weekday lunchtimes are calm and easy, but the bottomless brunch crowd makes weekends loud and lively, and bottomless sittings run to a strict two hours, which can feel rushed with children in tow. Worth checking their tapas and brunch offers before you book.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
