The food is properly fresh Italian: the tomato, garlic and cheese pizza bread gets rave after rave, and the lasagne, carbonara, mussels and calzone all come in generous, well-presented portions and arrive quickly. Staff are friendly and attentive without hovering. You can bring your own wine or beer, though corkage is around £4 a bottle and £1 a beer.
