Korean food in the middle of Sheffield, and the sort of place where a big shared bowl arrives and everyone picks at it. The staff are welcoming and quick to seat you, there's buggy access and high chairs, and a kids' menu if yours won't touch anything unfamiliar. Portions are large and prices sit well below what you'd expect for the city centre — the fried chicken gets the loudest praise, and a free side of kimchi turns up while you read the menu. Worth knowing: a lot of the menu is genuinely spicy, and even the "creamy rose" tteokbokki catches people out, so steer children towards japchae, bulgogi or the seaweed and vermicelli rolls. Bright, neon-lit and lively rather than hushed, which suits a noisy table. One family found the jjajangmyeon a touch dry.
