American · Lowestoft
A former pub reborn as a proper diner, this one has the space that matters when you arrive with a pram and a hungry toddler — buggy access, high chairs, free parking and outdoor tables for when the noise inside builds. It gets genuinely packed on summer weekends, though service keeps pace, and the team have been known to seat people twenty minutes before the kitchen closes without a fuss. The steak burgers come with daft names, the Nashville-style chicken burger is properly succulent, and the chicken tenders have a following of their own. Breakfast is worth knowing about too. Two honest caveats: food can take a while at busy times, and portions don't always match the prices — one visitor found the pork belly small for what it cost. Warm decor, friendly staff, easy with children.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
