Pizza · Cardiff
Pizza is the reason to come here, and it's genuinely good — one regular has eaten it a dozen-plus times and says it's never once been off. The kitchen is halal, with naan and curry alongside the pizzas, and there's a kids' menu, high chairs and room to get a pram through the door. It's a no-frills setup, though, and service is where opinions split hardest: plates and sauces land without ceremony, and more than a few people have found the counter brusque or slow when it's busy, so it's not the place for a fraught, hungry-toddler evening unless you've allowed for a wait. Eat in rather than take away if you can — the food arrives steaming, which is half the appeal. One regular sums it up as "no frills and no pretence, great pizza".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
