Cafés · Norwich
A proper old-fashioned village café on the edge of Norwich, with its own free off-road parking and everything on one level — which makes getting a buggy through the door far less of an ordeal than usual. Food comes out fast and very hot, which matters when someone small is running out of patience, and the staff are unfussy about children: one family who wanted to share their breakfast with the baby rather than buy a third plate were brought out a little plastic children's plate without any bother. The full English gets the loudest praise — proper sausage, egg and bacon — along with the cheese and mushroom omelette, homemade burgers, roast dinners and enormous slices of cheesecake. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. Dogs get water and sausages too. There's outdoor seating, high chairs and a kids' menu.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
