Greek cooking in the middle of Buxton, with a quiet road outside that makes the outdoor tables genuinely usable — families catch the late sun out there without traffic noise, and there's buggy access plus high chairs and a kids' menu if you're arriving with little ones. The staff have a warm, chatty way with them that puts children at ease, and they've been known to seat people well ahead of a booked time. Portions are generous for the price: mixed souvlaki around £21, baked cod, stifado with roast potatoes, chicken gyros, big king prawns. The orange cake gets talked about more than anything else on the menu. Diets are well covered, vegan included. Worth booking, and be warned it gets very warm inside on hot days — another reason to ask for a table outside.
